Glutathione is a tripeptide made of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine, with an unusual gamma link between the first two. Its thiol group makes it one of the main antioxidants inside cells. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder in 600 mg and 1200 mg vials for in vitro laboratory research only.
